ReplyDeleteThank you David, Ian, and Marty! This was a fine, all-encompassing interview and Marty, I wouldn't change a word in your responses! The many years leading up to the publication of Hymnal 1982 were, as I continue to see this project these forty years later, a pastoral venture at all times. So many needs, experiences, and. frankly, tastes we all develop over time. It was a difficult task to be certain, but always invigorating and so worth the years of labor! Again, many thanks for your time in producing this podcast for the Church at large.
