The nickname for “Low Sunday” among the Orthodox is “St. Thomas Sunday.”
ReplyDeleteYou might also be interested to know that Sunday Matins in the Orthodox Church always includes a gospel reading of the Resurrection. There is an 11-week cycle of these Resurrection Gospels. There are also several liturgical hymns about the Resurrection that are sung each Sunday at Matins as well.
