  1. I think some vocabulary (such as “vainglory “) SHOULD be understood by people n the pews. This is a great preaching or educational opportunity to be grasped.

  2. Note on "Salutation": at least some clergy in my experience, and perhaps many, misinterpret "Salutation" as the opening acclamation that (optionally) appears at the beginning of the Holy Eucharist rites.
